I watched Branagh’s Thor only weeks ago because I wanted to watch the second movie. I heard so many bad reviews in 2011 that I wasn’t tempted at all – I was afraid to be disappointed by Kenneth Branagh’s direction, his Hamlet being one of my favourite movies. I discovered Thor and Loki in ‘The Avengers’ last year and I have to say that I fell for Tom Hiddelston’s baddie; Loki is a character to be loved and to be hated at the same time and I’m looking forward to see him the next time…

Those two movies gather great British actors as Sir Anthony Hopkins (Hannibal Lecter), Tom Hiddelston (Wallander with Branagh, The Deep Blue Sea and The Hollow Crown), Christopher Eccleston (the 9th Doctor Who), Idris Elba (Luther and Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Mr Eko in Lost) and Ray Stevenson (Rome and Dexter) …
